What We Do
A Better Walker’s fully upright walker is a breakthrough medical device (2014 patent) with HCPCS coding for reimbursement by Medicare. A Better Walker, LLC is also an accredited Medicare supplier. When ordered we do the billing and ship it to one of our contracted Physical Therapists for setup and education. ABW is designed to benefit a wide range of people with neurological disorders from vestibular disorders to Multiple Sclerosis (MS), ALS, Parkinson's Disease, stroke and dementia. Our fully upright supportive walking device was engineered with the goal of decreasing the common walker complaint of neck and back pain by improving posture and gait while reducing the risk of debilitating falls. Ultimately, A Better Walker is designed to help give individuals with balance and limited mobility issues a better quality of life by increasing safety, decreasing falls and allowing for independence through enhanced physical activity.
